Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Secure Borders Initiative (SBInet), Acquisition Support Contract.
May 16, 2008 - Stratecon has announced that it has been awarded a contract by DHS CBP SBInet to continue providing acquisition support to the Secure Borders Initiative Program. Stratecon will provide acquisition support to the SBInet Contracting Officer in the areas of Contract Award and Management, Cost and Pricing Support, and Contract Administration Support. In addition, Stratecon acquisition specialists shall assist the Contracting Officer in the development of solutions and recommendations regarding contractual issues for the SBInet program contract as well as on various program support contracts.
Stratecon will provide Contract Administration, Task Order Award and Management support to the SBInet Contracting Directorate. This includes making recommendations regarding direction in the formation of contracts, resolution of acquisition-related issues, and ongoing acquisition negotiation and acquisition management for SBInet and supporting program acquisitions.
Stratecon acquisition specialists will provide Cost and Pricing support to the SBInet program. This support includes analyzing proposals submitted for task orders and contract modifications; preparation of pre and post negotiation documentation; and documenting SBInet contract files.
Stratecon shall also provide Acquisition Administration support to the SBInet Contracting Directorate. This support includes supporting the SBInet contracting officers in day-to-day activities related to the administration of contracts and task orders supporting the SBInet program.
