Stratecon Awarded U.S. Coast Guard Contract for Project Management and Acquisition Support Services
April 28, 2008 - Stratecon is pleased to announce that it has received a contract award to provide Project Management and Acquisition Support Services to the U.S. Coast Guard, Office of Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Information Technology (C4 I&T) Project and Acquisition Management Office.
The Coast Guard C4 I&T Project and Acquisition Management Office has been recently formed to provide IT project and acquisition management support to the U.S. Coast Guard. The office provides C4 I&T acquisition planning and implementation of effective C4 I&T acquisition vehicles, total C4 I&T acquisition asset visibility and oversight procedures for C4 I&T project management, and a responsive process for customers to get C4 I&T products and services.
Stratecon has been tasked to assist the Coast Guard in establishing the C4 I&T Project and Acquisition Management Office. The tasks Stratecon will be performing include project management for acquisition and human resource planning, policy document development, monitoring, tracking and supporting in the review of C4 I&T acquisitions.
